Plain English, because that's the point. This notice covers how I handle the personal data you give me through this website.

Who I am

What I collect

From the audit form: business name, website (if any), email, optionally phone and notes.

From the contact form: whatever you write to me. From server logs: standard request information (IP, user agent, timestamp) for one week, used only to spot abuse.

What I do with it

I read it, reply to it, and keep it for my records. I do not sell it, share it with third parties, or feed it to a marketing system. There's no newsletter and no tracking pixel.

For email delivery, I use Resend. Resend processes the email content as a data processor on my behalf — see their privacy policy.

Audit-form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Supabase (a managed Postgres provider) so I can keep track of who's asked for an audit and what I recommended. Supabase processes this data as a data processor on my behalf — see their privacy policy.

If you provide a website URL, I use Google's PageSpeed Insights API to fetch a public Lighthouse audit of the page so I can understand its performance, SEO and accessibility before getting back to you. The URL is sent to Google for this purpose — see Google's privacy policy.

How long I keep it

Audit replies: 12 months from your last contact, then deleted unless we're working together. Active client correspondence: kept for the lifetime of the project plus 6 years (HMRC requirement). Server logs: 7 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me what I hold on you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I'll do it within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

None set by this site. No third-party trackers. No analytics that need consent.
